Elder Leadership Team

Our elders, led by Pastor Barry, serve as the personnel committee and work with the staff to seek the Lord, provide direction, empower ministries, share responsibility in leadership, counsel, minister and other related activities. 

Wes Carlton 

 Wes is married to Kathy. They have three adult children – Alisa, Curtis and Jack.  They also have 4 grandchildren.  Wes was ordained in October 2015.  They are the founders and principle owners of Loss Management Solutions where Wes is a Disaster Specialist.  Kathy is the Director of Government Affairs with Apartment Association Greater Dallas.  Wes serves on the Worship Arts Ministry Team. Kathy serves as a Host on the Help Team, and they both are members of the Altar Ministry Team and Intercessory Prayer Ministry.

 

Ron Sheehan 

 Ron is married to Barbara. They have three children – Connor, Catherine and Colin. Ron was ordained in October 2015. He is the Director, Business Optimization with Haemonetics. Barb is a Registered ER Nurse. Ron serves as the Chairman of the Finance Team and Ron and Barb both serve on the Intercessory Prayer Ministry.

 

Darin Davis

 Darin is married to Mary. They have three children  – Joshua, Alexandra and Landry and one grandchild.  Darin was ordained in October 2015. He owns Darin Davis Real Estate Group at Keller Williams Realty.  Darin and Mary are also the owners of Oak Street Cottage in Roanoke, TX. Darin serves as a Greeter and Usher on the Help Team and Mary serves on the Finance Team. They both serve on the    Intercessory Prayer Ministry.

 

Ed Tweedie 

 Ed is married to Karla. Together they have 7 adult children, and 14 grandchildren. Ed was ordained as an Elder in March 2003. He is the owner of Educational Technology Learning in Southlake, TX. Karla is employed by Computer Sciences Corporation and works in Software Asset Management. Ed and Karla serve on the Intercessory Prayer Ministry.

“Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as elders, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.”
