Brian and Trish Foster
EXECUTIVE PASTOR
Brian Foster serves as our Executive Pastor. At the church, he is responsible for assisting the Senior Pastor in all phases of the ministry including administration, pastoral work, and overseeing the Academy and Preschool. With a military and first responder background, Brian has a passion for ministering and counseling those men and women who served or are serving in these high stress occupations.
As a leader in the aviation industry, Brian began his career in the U.S Army as a pilot. When Brian felt a calling to ministry he enrolled and graduated in 2019 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth with a master’s degree in theological studies. He was ordained in 2022. In 2023, Brian made the faith decision to resign his position as an executive in the corporate world of aviation patient transportation and transition to ministry full time. The verse he leans on daily is Proverbs 3:5-6.
Brian married his wife Trish in 1990. They have two grown children. Outside of ministry, Brian enjoys lifting weights, spending time with family, and spoiling his and Trish's rescue dogs.

Ryan and LeAnne Smithee
YOUTH PASTOR
Ryan brings over 30 years of student ministry experience, having served in churches across Oklahoma, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Texas. Ryan and LeAnne ‘s journey began at Oklahoma Baptist University, where they were married in 1995. Originally from Oklahoma, their path led them to Texas where Ryan earned his degree from Southwestern Seminary in 2002. In 2018, during a sabbatical from full-time ministry, the Smithee family found a new home in Trophy Club and became active members of The Church at Trophy Lakes. This season of renewal led Ryan to join the church staff as Student Pastor where he continues to inspire and guide young people.
Ryan and LeAnne are the proud parents of three young adult daughters: Jessica, Jordan, and Jaydan. Together, they are passionate about helping teenagers discover a genuine faith in God, embrace it in ways that transform their lives, and walk with God for a life time.

Juan Carlos and Elizabeth Tafoya
PASTORAL CARE AND OUTREACH PASTOR
Juan Carlos serves as our Pastoral Care & Outreach Pastor, faithfully shepherding our church family with love, prayer, and wisdom rooted in the Word of God. His calling into ministry was shaped through receiving Christ-centered discipline and counsel, an experience that now fuels his heart to walk alongside others with the same compassion and truth.
Since 2016, Juan Carlos has faithfully served our local church body and was ordained in 2022. His ministry focuses on loving people, making everyone feel welcome, providing biblical counsel, and assisting with building upkeep to serve the needs of the church. He is passionate about witnessing to all people and proclaiming the truth of John 14:6: “Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” He believes God is forming a people for His glory.
Elizabeth faithfully serves as our Childcare Coordinator, ministering to children and supporting families across all generations. Together, Juan Carlos and Elizabeth have a deep love for the church and a heart to see families grow strong in Christ.
Juan Carlos and Elizabeth first met as teenagers while working at a grocery store and became best friends, a friendship that has flourished through nearly 25 years of marriage. They are blessed with two wonderful children, Gabriel and Abigail. In his free time, Juan Carlos enjoys movies, sports, hiking, and discovering great food. He’s truly a movie-loving, sports-enthusiast and hiking-loving foodie!

Kiley and Jonathan Hatch
WORSHIP AND ADMINISTRATION
Kiley Hatch serves as our Worship Leader and Administrator. She has known from a very young age that leading worship was her calling. No matter where life has taken her, it has always led her back to serving the church and The Lord with her gifts. Her heart is to see the local church thrive and for people to encounter Jesus in a real and tangible way. Kiley joined her first worship team at 11 years old, was leading one by 15, and she has now spent over two decades serving in worship ministry in various capacities. Her life verse is Jeremiah 17:7–8, reminding her to trust in the Lord and remain rooted in Him.
Kiley met her husband, Jonathan, while serving together on the Worship and Production team in 2013. They married in 2015 and welcomed their first daughter in 2022. Outside of ministry, Kiley enjoys a wide range of hobbies, from embroidery to reading, especially when they can be done while cuddling with Finley, their 85-pound half mastiff, half lab, who is her constant and favorite companion.

Callie Schritter
ACADEMY DIRECTOR
Callie began with TLA September 2013 as a young college student within our afterschool program. She has worked in many positions at Trophy Lakes Academy as teaching our young 2's and babies. She joined our office administration 4 years ago and moved into the Assistant Director position. Ms Callie has a loving heart for the children and families at Trophy Lakes Academy.
